Lufkin 24" Rule with Combination Square & Scribe, # 2504

Description

Up for auction is a Lufkin combination square with 24 inch rule.  It weighs 1 lb.  2.7 ounces, and the rule is hardened.  There are a number of corrosion marks
on the rule and pictures show most of them.  There may be one corrosion mark on an edge where running the scribe might catch it but it is very shallow.
The square runs very smooth over the rule and doesn't hang up at all, the bubble is intact and the square itself has no nicks on the edges.  The scribe is a
replacement but fits snugly.
A previous owner scratched his name on the square, but this is still a useable square for the carpenter or machinist.
