Price and features were good. Runs quietly. Its size and weight made it easy to maneuver into place. My only disappointment involved attempting to switch the door hinges so they opened opposite to the factory setting. Everything was going great until I got to the last screw on the bottom hinge. That screw would not come out, causing me to inadvertently damage the head on the screw, still without luck in getting it loose. I finally gave up and left the hinges on the right side, even though that is not optimum given the refrigerator's location in the kitchen.

I bought this to bridge to gap between the time our slowly-dying fridge completely dies, and when we get a new full size fridge (2-3 months backorder), and then it will be a beverage and backup fridge. I did read the reviews and two of the issues might be related to the same thing. It's hard to see (if not for the stickers, which may be a recent addition to the packaging), but the entire fridge (except the back) is covered in plastic that needs to be removed before operation. I suspect people who do not remove this have both trouble with heat and bubbling. Though it has been hustling to catch up after start up (if you are looking for a beast of cooling power, this is not going to be for you), thus far this fridge has not even been warm to the touch (on the sides), and it is quieter than a mini-fridge. Cannot comment on durability as I have had it one day, but it took the freezer about 90 minutes to get to spec temp (in the 4 to 8 range and below) and the fridge itself about 3 hours to hit sub 40 temps. This is not just a large mini ("dorm") fridge, this is a step up in design over that; and many smallish fridges are not energy efficient. For the price, and the ability to just run over to HD and pick it up in an "emergency", and no frost, and energy efficient. If it holds up just a few years... totally worth the price for the purposes we needed it for.

Purchased this to be our 'garage fridge'; we just completed a kitchen remodel, I wanted to keep our old fridge in the garage as it still works, Husband said it took up too much space--we settled on this little gem.
