    This is a beautiful specimen consisting mostly of dark purplish crystalline masses of the uncommon manganese phosphate mineral PURPURITE with some lesser amounts brownish LITHIOPHYLLITE and no other matrix from the Cameroon Pegmatite, Goabeb Farm 63, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia. The specimen is 4.8 by 1.95 by 1.6 cms in size or about 1.92 by 0.78 by 0.64 inches and weighs 17.8 grams.
